Mantec Technical Ceramics completes its biggest ever order in the heavy clay sector for its unique Ultralite™ material.

Ultralite was specified for use in all the kiln cars of a tunnel kiln being manufactured by Ceric Technologies for a brand new clay roof tile factory in Poland.

The contract involves the company supplying 740m3 of Ultralite, a lightweight refractory based insulating material, for this state-of-the-art manufacturing facility which has at its heart the twin objectives of superior efficiencies and energy saving.

The photos show the last few pallets of Ultralite being loaded into the lorry destined for the new factory in Poland.

This is a most notable success for Mantec Technical Ceramics in this sector of the ceramic industry. The destination is the new clay tile factory commissioned by Etex Building Materials Polska – due to be opened later in 2012 in the town of Kościan, which is in Wielkopolska in western Poland.
